Worship Service for the Week of June 22nd
Scripture Texts: Acts 4:1-13
Sermon: Peter: Profiles in Courage
One of the most famous figures in history is the Apostle Peter. But if it were not for meeting Jesus he would have died as a complete unknown in a backwater province of the Roman Empire. What was it that Jesus saw in this uneducated fisherman and how did God use him in the book of Acts? This Sunday we will trace Peter's career through the gospels and the book of Acts as we seek to learn some key lessons for our lives by looking at this wonderfully flawed Jesus follower.

Two things made the difference for Peter: The filling of the Spirit and having spent time with Jesus. As you move into prayer time, invite the Spirit to come and invite Jesus to be with each of you and teach you this week.
