Icebreaker: Name a project you started but never finished
Discussion Questions:
Peter said that there are two wrong views of the cross we can have.
View #1 - People don’t really need the cross. God will just forgive everyone.
View #2 - The cross is not enough. There’s more I must do to pay the debt of my sin.
1) Do you struggle with either or both of these wrong views? Which ones and why?
2) If someone asked you why did Jesus have to die, what would say to them?
3) Read 1 Corinthians 1:18 and 1:22-24. Discuss what this means.
